Donation from Martello Rotary and Seaford Striders
Martello Rotary President, Julian Newton Turner and Seaford Striders Club Chair, Victoria Malewski were delighted to present cheques of £1200 each to Julia Hancock of The Youth Counselling Project and Maggie Grinyer from East Sussex Vision Support
The Seaford Martello Half Marathon is run jointly with The Martello Rotary and Seaford Striders Running Club annually, with the proceeds going to local charities. This year the charities selected were The Youth Counselling Project and East Sussex Vision Support.
The Youth Counselling Project works through schools in Seaford to offer specialist counselling to students in primary and secondary education, providing professional counselling services at no cost to students who are suffering from mental health difficulties in the Seaford area.
